On this episode of Missions Pulse, David Joannes interviews David Eubank, founder of Free Burma Rangers (FBR), a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement working to bring help, hope, and love to people in the conflict areas of Burma, Iraq, and Sudan.

On June 2, 2017, David Eubank saved a five-year-old girl at the Battle or Mosul in Iraq. Eubank shares the details of that powerful moment on Missions Pulse.

What’s the difference between justice and revenge? Is it really possible to love your enemy? David Eubank says that the answer lies beyond philosophy and religion. Only the power of Jesus can transform a human heart and cause love to the seeming unlovely. “Real love is never crazy,” David says. Once you recognize that every person is created in God’s image, you come to see the intrinsic value of human life.

If your radio goes down and you can’t hear what you’re supposed to do, go with the last command you’ve been given. The Commander’s Intent is the overarching plan. David Eubank shares a powerful message about obedience.

You have the grand idea to make a difference in the world. But what happens when people don’t receive the goodness you seek to bring? David Eubank says, “If there was a false motive of misplaced emotion or pride or fear that brought you here, I say, ‘God, take this away from me.'” Eubank works for God, not for men, and that is what keeps him going.
