Our mission from Jesus: go and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)
The results of our obedience: The end will come. (Matthew 24:14)
So how are we doing on “finishing the task”?
Well, 29% of the world still have never heard of Jesus.
No access to the gospel.
No Bibles.
No church.
No believers nearby.

There are roughly 400,000 cross cultural missionaries.
72% of missionaries go to the most reached countries.
25% of missionaries go to countries with access to the gospel.
3% of missionaries go to the unreached world.
What about money given to missions? Glad you asked.
87% of all money given to missions goes to the most reached countries.
12% of all money given to missions goes to countries with access to the gospel.
1% of all money given to missions goes to the unreached world.

To summarize: 3% of our global missionary force, armed with only 1% of missions giving, is going out to reach the 2 billion people who don’t have access to the gospel.
