If you haven’t already heard, the Thailand military declared martial law in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after months of anti-government protests and unrest, taking control of TV stations and patrolling the streets of Bangkok, but denied they are staging a coup d’etat.

We live in the city of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. After over 15 years in China, we transitioned to Thailand as the ministry of Within Reach Global expands throughout Southeast Asia.
Chiang Mai is known for it’s massive tourism industry, and is a family friendly city in Southeast Asia. It is also a strategic missionary center, as numerous missions agencies and non profit organizations are based here.
At this moment, we are safe, and do not sense extreme danger. But as Thailand is presently under martial law, we ask you to pray for our family, and for the civil unrest of this nation.
