Every single one of us deals with the need for perseverance. We have goals that are hard to attain—some are selfish and others are altruistic. Perseverance often equates with faith. Doug Gehman talks about his forthcoming book, Before You Quit, encouraging you to persevere to the greater end.

Remember when missionary grit was par for the course? Has that stick-to-itiveness been lost in today’s mission endeavor? If we want to see fruit in our missionary, we must show perseverance. We cannot discount God’s overarching supernatural power to break through in miraculous ways but we must be ready to put our hand to the plow and not look back.

Your life has an eternal impact on those you come into contact with. Everything else should pale in comparison to this reality. However, we live in a tangible world. How can we stay focused on the intangible? Doug Gehman tells his experience and encourages you to see where God is at work and join Him there.

In Matthew 24, amidst all the chaos of the end times, Jesus says that there is going to be an exponential thrust of Gospel declaration. Essentially, Jesus says that despite upheaval, God will do amazing things. This is the point that all of history is moving toward.
