It was an incredibly engaging conversation during our live video missions broadcast on Blab. Check out the replay here.

Steve Schirmer, president of Silk Road Catalyst, and I interviewed Steve Jennings in the United Arab Emirates who recently wrote a blog called, “Stop Sending Missionaries: Why More Isn’t Always Better”.

The title may seem a little provocative or even controversial. I personally like blog titles like that! But the conversation that ensued moved to the direction of empowering and training long term cross cultural missional workers to thrive in their missionary calling as they cross cultures to the least reached people groups in the 10/40 Window.

“Local churches should take the long view in their missions work, faithfully making many disciples who are able to go out and persevere in faithful gospel ministry. They should labor for quantity without sacrificing quality by a single degree.” – Steve Jennings
