We have a new position available as Social Media Manager at Within Reach Global that needs to be filled ASAP!
Now, we could say something cheese ball like, “The pay isn’t great but the benefits are out of this world!” Which would be completely true, as this is a volunteer position, and you would be helping bring prayer updates for thousands of unreached peoples to a broader Christian audience.
Here’s the reality:
- There are millions of people who have never heard of Jesus in Southeast Asia;
- We desire to continue being a strong voice for unreached people groups on social media.
The great thing about this available position as Social Media Manager is that you can be anywhere in the world to fill it.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Someone with a heart for God, heart for the lost, and a willingness to help us grow our Christian audience;
- A one year commitment as our Social Media Manager;
- Spend roughly one day per month scheduling Within Reach Global posts.
Easy, right? It really isn’t that much work. It’s just that we are over our heads in other ministry needs, and need to find someone to help carry the social media load.
So you’re interested. Now where do you begin?
We’d like to connect with you and get you up to speed with our social media style and requirements. Here’s how to start:
- We will set up an initial 30 minute Skype conversation with you. We’ll call this time a sort of meet and greet;
- We will provide you with account information and make you an admin on our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest);
- You will begin by simply copy/pasting quotes, previous posts, photos and videos to our timeline/feed;
- We will be available for any questions/concerns you might have.
Worried that you might not know every detail of what’s happening in the ministry as it happens? That’s fine. We can be in charge of real time updates and events. The greatest help that you can bring to the table is to post photos, links to previous blogs, and missions related quotes that will be a continual stream of posts inspiring people to pray for the unreached and to get involved with this ministry financially.
