Meet Mayowa Ojo, designer, photographer, UI developer, filmmaker, and music enthusiast. Nigerian born and raised, he lives in the U.S., studies in Scotland, fresh from a year in China. A guy who travels the globe like that always has a unique perspective and story to tell. Check out his site here: mayowaojo.com I first saw Mayowa’s short film Some Nights on Vimeo while scouring the net for quality timelapses to use for the human trafficking film I am making. I loved his work, shot him an email, and he replied within a couple days. He said he’d be happy to let me use his beautiful shots for this non profit film. You’ll see some of his timelapses below in my soon to release human trafficking film. I’ve completed about 75% of this human trafficking film for Eden Ministry. It’s a painstaking task when you’re a one man show. I directed, wrote, shot, and edited the film with the help of a couple friends. Thank you Grace for all your help shooting the girls rescued out of prostitution with me. Thank you Eli for shooting extra b-roll in the red light district. Thank you Tony Anderson for the incredible cinematic music. Perpetual and Hope work perfect for this film! And thank you Mayowa for the beautiful timelapses. Check out the previous trafficking prevention film I did in Mandarin. It’s trending pretty heavy on Youku in China right now.
